Tonight, two of the regions hottest teams match up for a final tune up before they each embark on the path to a regional championship. It’s Owensboro Catholic (24-4) VS Breckinridge County (19-8) at Breckinridge County High School. The Lady Tigers will honor their superstar Senior Caroline Lucas for Senior Night & the environment should be BIG TIME! O’Cath comes into the game after defeating Top 25 Ryle earlier this week, while Breckinridge County is coming off an overtime win over the 5th Regions Elizabethtown. O’Cath, of course is the defending regional champion & are the favorites to repeat. Breckinridge County has built a juggernaut under HC Chad Moorman & have been, brick by brick, building a championship level roster & that locker room isn’t shying away from expectations. Michael Robertson & O’Cath have established themselves as the best program in the region for several years now & they’ll come in with one final stiff test before locking in for a MURDEROUS 9th District Tournament.
