Our team will be in the 10th district tonight for the boy/girl double header between Ohio County & McLean County & as always when 2 10th district teams meet, it’ll be a hostile environment & we’re excited to be there! McLean County VS Ohio County (GIRLS)

3RH Thoughts On The Game:

Both of these teams have seen better days, but both teams will play hard & have a ton of youth in their rotations. Considering both teams come into tonight’s game desperate for a win, this one should be a very gritty matchup. McLean County has one of the best 8th graders in the region, if not THE best, in guard Anna Miller. Ohio County is led by Junior Ella Decker, who’s one of the most under appreciated players in the region & is arguably the top player in the 10th district, not named Brooklyn Stewart. Ohio County, winless in district play, needs a win tonight to boost their confidence as the district tournament play quickly approaches us. With Muhlenberg County having secured the top overall seed, this one is simply about Moral & Momentum. Both Ted Hill & Ryan Groves feel their teams have a legit shot at making the region tournament & tonight’s matchup will have a postseason feel to it. The 10th District, once heralded as the toughest district in the 3rd Region on the girls side, has struggled this season when it comes to a regional contender standpoint but these games ALWAYS produce WARS!

3RH Thoughts On The Game:

Ohio County has locked in the 1 seed in the district after sweeping bitter rival Muhlenberg County & defeating McLean in the 1st meeting. The Eagles are veteran led and though plagued with injuries, have managed to stay relatively healthy as of late, notably Elijah Decker, who’s playing as well as anyone in the area right now. McLean County comes into tonight looking for a resume building win. The Cougars NEED a win to help their confidence. Ohio County simply needs to just.. STAY HEALTHY! McLean County has seen an unprecedented amount of success under HC Darren Lynom & Ohio County has as a veteran championship coach on their sidelines in Paul Decker. When these two coaches meet up, it’s a lot of fun watching them work the sidelines, almost always delivering a chess match. Both, Elijah Decker & Gunnar Revelett were named to the 3RH Midseason First Team & both will be looking to lead their teams to a district win tonight.
