3rd Region Hoops— One of the more successful Woman’s basketball programs over the last 10 years in the 3rd Region calls Hardinsburg home! Breckinridge Co & its Head Coach, Chad Moorman have established themselves as a regional powerhouse. They’re always at the top of the rankings & always one of the favorites to contend for a regional title & this season is no different. You’ve heard plenty of times about how last season was supposed to be a rebuild year for Coach Moorman & what did Moorman do? Mess around and win 25 games to finish with a 25-8 record and yet another Final 4 appearance in the 3rd Region Tournament. All of last seasons team returned, setting up the level anticipation & expectations to be through the roof! Now here we are, 2 days before the new year and The Lady Tigers are setting at 9-5 on the year after falling to a really good Montgomery County team today. That 9-5 record and the level of play Breck has had has many questioning & wondering “What’s Wrong With Breck Co?” “Is this team for real?” “Is this team overrated?”
